Hi!
I am Dayana Assad, a Meisner trained actress based in San Francisco, blending my Syrian and Belarusian roots into a powerful, emotionally rich perspective on every role I take on. Fluent in English, Russian, Belarusian, and Chinese, I bring a unique multicultural presence and linguistic versatility to my work.
Owing to unfavorable political circumstances in my homeland, and inspired by Will Smith’s portrayal of Genie in Aladdin, I turned my life upside down and came to the United States almost four years ago to pursue my dreams. Since then, I’ve been training intensively and building a body of work grounded in emotional truth, presence, and connection.
As an actress, I’m deeply sensitive to human experience — I absorb the world around me like a sponge. I’m not afraid to be vulnerable, to break open, and to explore the raw, honest layers of a character. Acting isn’t just my profession — it’s how I make sense of life, challenge myself to grow, and connect with others on the deepest level.
When I’m not acting, I share my passion for Chinese language and culture through a growing YouTube channel — storytelling in another form, driven by the same love for connection and expression.
